Churches Help Occupy Movement Survive Crackdowns, Winter

On Faith: A Conversation on Religion and Politics is a blog of the Washington Post.  This afternoon, a post by Josef Kuhn explored the ways churches, synagogues, and mosques are opening their doors in support of the Occupy movement.  The UCC is prominent in the article.  The story begins at Judson Memorial , in New York City, a congregation dually aligned with the American Baptists and the United Church of Christ.  Then it jumps across the country, to Portland, OR, mentioning the support First Congregational and First Unitarian Churches have offered to Occupy protestors.  Read more:
