Central Pacific Conference Board of Directors and Ministry Teams
The work of the Central Pacific Conference is largely conducted by the CPC Ministry Teams and the Board of Directors. Ministry Teams carry out the goals and objectives of the Conference, as determined by the Assemblies held twice each year, in the spring and fall. Board of Directors
The Conference Board of Directors acts for the Conference Assembly between meetings of the Assembly. There are fifteen members of the Board of Directors of chosen in a manner which facilitates representation by all geographic sectors of the Conference. Five individuals are elected at-large by the Conference during the Spring Assembly (annual meeting). Officers of the Board, also elected at the annual meeting, are the Moderator, Moderator-elect, Immediate Past Moderator, Secretary, and Treasurer. Each Ministry Team recommends to the Nominations Committee a representative for their Team to the Board.
Meetings of the Board of Directors are open for attendance by any member of the Conference. Minutes of Board meetings are made available to each congregation following their approval by the Board.
Financial reports and updates are presented at each board meeting, along with reports and recommendations from the Conference Minister. Ministry Team representatives provide program reports for information purposes and general coordination by the Board where necessary. Legal and contractual matters are handled by the Board or when appropriate delegated to the Conference Minister.
