Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG)

Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit organization with over 200,000 members and supporters and over 500 affiliates in the United States. This vast grassroots network is cultivated, resourced and serviced by the PFLAG national office, located in Washington, D.C., the national Board of Directors and 13 Regional Directors. Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN)

GLSEN envisions a future in which every child learns to respect and accept all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. GLSEN is the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe schools for ALL students.


TransFamily is a support group for transgendered and transsexual people, their parents, partners, children, other family members, friends, and supportive others. We provide referrals, literature, and over-the-phone information on all transgender issues.

Basic Rights Oregon

Activists awakened by anti-LGBT campaigns formed BRO with the vision to build a movement that could defend against attacks, but would also build a pro-active movement brought real change to Oregon.

Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign represents a grassroots force of more than 700,000 members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, HRC envisions an America where GLBT people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.
