The Local Church Ministry Team (LCMT) encourages and supports local churches to be vital, inclusive congregations of mission, unity, nurture, and justice.
LCMT is a faithful, creative group that gathers several times each year to plan programs that will encourage and support the lives and work of our local churches. If you are interested in serving on the Local Church Ministry Team please download a job description.
LCM coordinates closely with the work of the national UCC Local Church Ministry especially in promoting the God Is Still Speaking and Church Vitality Initiatives and others as called for from time to time.

The CPC Aging and Spirituality Network was born in November, 2015, with an inaugural meeting attended by representatives from six founding churches. The purpose of the network is to provide information and resources about the connection between aging and spirituality to member churches of the Central Pacific Conference of the UCC.
Mission: The mission of the Aging and Spirituality Network is to work with the local churches of the Central Pacific Conference to develop and provide resources and programs that encourage older adults to explore a renewed vision of aging through learning, sustained spiritual and faith development and service to their communities and the world.
Vision: The vision of the Aging and Spirituality Network is for a United Church of Christ that celebrates and honors our spiritual elders from mid-life through the end of life, nurturing and inspiring older adults to enrich their lives and their communities.
Annual Clergy Retreat
Every year, the Local Church Ministry team sponsors and helps fund the Annual Clergy Retreat, held in the spring. Here’s more about this year’s retreat:
The 2016 Clergy Retreat was held April 12-14 at the beautiful Kahneeta Resort in Warm Springs, OR. The theme was “Grief, Gratitude and Grace.” It was a time for renewal, reflection, relationship with colleagues, meaningful conversation and good fun. If you weren’t able to make it this year, you were missed. Much gratitude to the congregations who made the space for their clergy to be there.
The 2017 Clergy Retreat will be held again at Kahneeta Resort on April 25-27. Please do plan to come next spring!

CPC Women’s Ministry
A Conference Women’s Board operates as a separate entity, holds its own budget, makes scholarship awards from funds controlled by it, and arranges for annual cluster meetings of women. The Women’s Board is attached to LCMT for organizational purposes but its membership, operations and election of officers are autonomous.
