CPC Clergy Compensation Guidelines WEBINARS
The Central Pacific Conference Committee on Ministry invites you to a two-part webinar series on the CPC Clergy Compensation Guidelines
No, we aren’t talking about a dart board or crystal ball. Developing a fair, just and covenantal compensation package for your pastor is an intentional activity that is crucial to your ministry together. Earlier this year, the CPC Board approved the work of the Committee on Ministry (COM) on a revised and updated Clergy Compensation Guidelines for the conference.
Come join us for both sessions to help you and your church build a faithful financial covenant with your pastor.
Webinar #1 Understanding the CPC Clergy Compensation
Guideline Tools • Tuesday October 22nd, 5pm PT (6pm MT)
Remembering that these tools are merely guidelines, not set in stone. Come find out what is new with Clergy Compensation Guidelines and how to access and use these tools.
The team researched employment, real estate and benefits changes since the last published guidelines in 2018. Added to this latest version is an interactive spreadsheet that search committees and church treasurers can use in building a pastor’s compensation package. We will do a walk- through of the new tool.
Webinar #2 When the numbers don’t add up:
Brainstorming ways to best solve the clergy compensation challenges of small and rural churches
Tuesday October 29th, 5pm PT (6pm MT)
In this interactive session you will meet Rev. Roberto Ochoa, Minister for Ethnic Inclusion and Congregational Support for Small and Rural Churches. Rev. Roberto is a part of the Faith Education, Innovation and Formation (Faith INFO) Team from the National Setting of the United Church of Christ. Rev. Roberto will moderate a panel discussion with local church leaders from around the conference. Hear about challenges being faced and what they are doing to remain faithful to the care of our clergy, while keeping the lights on.
When you register, be certain to add your questions.
Each webinar will last approximately one hour.
