Meet the new Camp Adams Facilities Manager - Alaquinte MoonFeather
Camp Adams is pleased to welcome Alaquinte MoonFeather as our new facilities manager. He grew up on the southern Oregon coast and came to us by way of Christ the Healer UCC in Oregon City. He has a background as a union carpenter, and he has been a tinkerer and creator since a very young age. He has strong associations with organizations and collectives that seek to care for all creation. His love of people, plants, animals and all of creation shines through in all that he is!
Alaquinte has a deep love for the natural world, and it is likely you may find him in the creek, sunbathing, walking through the forest or in the garden. He has a deep love of community and gatherings, being drawn to the hearth; he loves to cook, sing, dance and tell stories. He has expressed many times, in many ways, what an honor it is to steward such a blessed and sacred land.
He is an avid advocate for self care and self actualization stating, “It starts with me, but it’s not about me!” What he does, he does not just for himself, but for his children first and foremost, and, ultimately, for all of consciousness.
