Russell Ware - Communications Strategist

Russell Ware comes to the Central Pacific Conference bringing extensive experience with marketing and communications both in the non-profit and commercial sectors. His background includes many years in ministry, including pastoral work for churches in Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Colorado. Russell also provides communications support for the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference of the UCC, and Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence, KS.

Russell recently moved to Lindsborg, KS with his wife Dr. Mandy Todd (soon to be Rev. Dr. once her ordination journey is complete with the Rocky Mountain Conference of the UCC). Mandy began her call as the Chaplain at Bethany Village in Lindsborg, in September. They are loving their new life and ministry in Lindsborg, where they live with their two boys and mom.

Russell loves this new world of remote work, which allows him to provide support to a wider group of people in the UCC family!

He is excited about the wonderful communications team already in place in the CPC, and is looking forward to working with that team and getting to know the churches and people in the Conference in this new year!

Russell is typically in the office and available Monday - Thursday: 7am - 1pm Pacific Time. Beyond these hours, he is often reachable (and working) as needed, but may or not be in the office. The exception to this is his OFF day on Saturday, and also Sunday mornings, when he has multiple church responsibilities in Lindsborg.
