Camp Adams Spring Work Party

Saturday, June 15th, 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM

You’re invited to Camp Adams on Saturday, June 15th for the Camp Adams Spring Work Party! Join us to get camp ready for the summer season with projects suitable for all ages. The primary projects we will be working on are trail clearing, installing the floating bridge over Milk Creek, cleaning exterior signs, and light interior and exterior building maintenance. Camp Adams has tools and equipment available for these tasks, but if you have used your own tools in the past that you have found to be effective, you are welcome to bring anything you think could be useful. 

Plan to dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. If you are able, please bring comfortable work gloves. If you expect to work on the bridge, bring clothes that can get wet, water shoes, and dry clothes to change into.

Work will start at 9:30 in the morning and aim to finish by 3:00; everyone is welcome to arrive late and/or leave early if needed. We will break for lunch at 12:00 and take time to celebrate and thank the outgoing interim Camp Adams team. Lunch and snacks will be provided, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
