We live in interesting times. Things are changing quickly, and sometimes schedules come together later than we want. Thank you for your flexibility as we try meet the needs of a changing world. And, as always, thank you for being the church for this time and this place.

The CPC Reckoning with Racism Team invites you to the 2024 Annual Gathering at the Wild Horse Resort & Casino on the Umatilla reservation.September 27-29.

In these trying times, I invite you to follow the example of our Moderator Lea, try (simply try) to focus on what you love. Look for the desire underneath your disgust. Look for the compassion inside your anger. Practice breathing. And hopefully you’ll have more energy to continue being the Church God needs for this time and this place.

The Portland Pride Festival and Parade are this coming weekend, July 20 & 21. There are many ways to bear witness to an inclusive Christian tradition and we need your presence!

Charlie Ross passed away on June 7, 2024.

When confronted with a question of how to act or believe, I ask myself, “If I believed that, would it lead to more life and more love? If I did that, would it lead to more love and more life?”

After many lengthy conversations with Ministry Team Leaders about what is possible for this summer, Natalie and I have determined we need to make major modifications to the Camp Adams summer camp program to ensure a quality and safe experience for both campers and volunteers.

Health care does not work well as a business. The Corvallis Clinic's many years of financial trouble is a testimony to this. Doctors are trying to heal and save lives with procedures and processes that are not necessarily profit-making. 

Camp dates for 2024 have been set.  Fees for all camps except Taller and Smaller will remain the same as 2023 at $500 per person. Taller and Smaller will be $145 for each adult and each child.
